Is Social Distancing required for Covid

After 1 year of experience I found people like Shop-keeper, delivery boy, politician,security,  house keeping etc. who is interacting everyday with many people and hardly wear any mask are more immune than the people who is maintaining all the covid protocols. Now question  is that to avoid Corona  do we have to do social- distancing or become social.
